One team, every layer of a connected product
An IoT hardware development company that stops at the board leaves you sourcing a second team for the cloud platform and a third for the app — each guessing at what the others actually built. Rivix scopes connected hardware, firmware, cloud/device platform and app together from day one, so a decision at one layer — what a sensor reports, how often it phones home, how a device authenticates — gets made once, by people who understand the whole path.

Why the handoff between device and cloud is where IoT projects actually break.
The device and the platform get designed together
A device's data schema, reporting cadence, provisioning flow and OTA strategy are cloud decisions as much as they're firmware decisions. Splitting them across two vendors means one side ships first and the other adapts around it — usually badly, and usually late.
Fleet behavior is a hardware constraint too
How a device handles a dropped connection, a failed OTA, or a battery near end-of-life is a firmware decision that the cloud platform has to assume correctly. A single team can validate that assumption against the actual firmware instead of the spec sheet.
Security has to be designed end to end
Device identity, secure boot, provisioning and cloud authentication only hold together as a system if the same team reasons about the device's threat model and the platform's threat model at once.
One named engineer, not a relay of account managers
Every Rivix IoT engagement is led by a named senior engineer accountable for hardware, firmware and cloud together — not separate points of contact per layer routing issues to each other.

What people ask before choosing an IoT development company.
What does "end-to-end IoT development" actually include?
Connected-device hardware and PCB design, firmware and wireless connectivity, the cloud/device platform that ingests and manages fleet data, the mobile or web app a user or operator touches, and certification pre-compliance — staffed together instead of handed off between separate vendors at each layer.
What is "hardware to cloud" development, and why does it matter?
It means the same team that designs the board and writes the firmware also builds the cloud platform the device reports to, so decisions like what a sensor reports, how often, and how it's authenticated get made once by people who understand both ends.
Do you work across IoT verticals, or specialize in one?
We've shipped connected products across medical devices, industrial and building IoT, smart home, automotive, energy/smart-grid and consumer electronics. The underlying engineering carries across verticals; the constraints and certifications that shape it don't, so we scope each build for its specific regulatory and environmental context.
