Terms of Service
The terms that govern use of this website and, in outline, our client engagements.
September 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms as the company formalizes; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
2. Who we are
Rivix Systems ("Rivix", "we", "us") is an engineering studio providing embedded hardware, firmware, cloud/device platform, and mobile/web application services, based in India.
3. Use of this website
This site is informational: it describes our services and lets you reach us to scope a project. You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to disrupt its operation, scrape it at abusive volume, or submit the contact form with false or malicious content.
4. The contact and careers forms
The contact and careers forms on this site send your submission to our own server, which validates it and logs it internally, including a record of the consent you gave at submission. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and how we use it.
By checking the consent box and submitting either form, you expressly agree that Rivix may contact you at the phone number and/or email address you provided — by phone call, email, and/or SMS/text message — regarding your inquiry or application and related information about our services. See Privacy Policy §4 for how to opt out.
5. Client engagements
Any actual engineering engagement — scope, deliverables, pricing, IP ownership, confidentiality, and liability — is governed by a separate signed agreement (e.g. a statement of work or master services agreement) between Rivix and the client, not by this website's terms. Where the two conflict, the signed agreement controls.
6. Intellectual property
The content, design, and branding of this website belong to Rivix (or are used under license) and may not be copied or reused without permission. This does not apply to client deliverables, which are governed by the relevant signed agreement.
7. No warranty
This website and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy or completeness — many figures on this site (pricing multiples, timelines) are illustrative, not guaranteed outcomes for any specific project.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivix is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. This section does not limit liability under any signed client agreement, which governs separately.
9. Governing law
Governing law and jurisdiction will be specified once Rivix's legal structure is finalized. Until then, no specific jurisdiction is asserted for disputes arising from this website.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent via the contact page.
