Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and how to reach us about it.
September 2026
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers information collected through this website (currently pages under this domain). It does not cover information exchanged during an actual client engagement, which is governed by the relevant signed agreement and any separate data processing terms.
2. What we collect today
As of this writing, this website:
- Uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic (pages visited, approximate location/traffic source, device type). This only runs if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner; it is off by default and off entirely if you reject or ignore the banner.
- Uses Apollo's website visitor tracker to help us recognise which companies visit our site (it may use your IP address and browsing activity on this site). Like analytics, this only runs if you accept optional cookies in the cookie banner.
- Does not use advertising scripts, retargeting pixels, or sell/share data with third parties for marketing.
- Sets a strictly-necessary cookie/local storage entry to remember your cookie consent choice, and one for theme preference on pages that offer a toggle.
- Includes a contact form (Name, Email, Company, Project details) and a careers application form (Name, Email, Phone, and a résumé/CV file for the role you're applying to). Submitting either form sends your information to our own server, which we control — it is not front-end only. We validate the submission (e.g. required fields, email/phone format, résumé file type and size), and log it to a local file on our server together with a record of your consent (the consent text you were shown, the timestamp, and your IP address). Résumé files are stored on our server's disk.
3. What we do with form submissions
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your inquiry or application and, if you proceed, to scope a potential engagement or evaluate a candidacy. We don't sell this information or use it for unrelated marketing without asking first. We currently do not send an automated confirmation email on submission — only the internal log entry described above is created at submission time.
4. Contacting you by phone, email, or SMS
If you provide a phone number and/or email address through the contact form or careers application form, you agree that we may contact you using that phone number and/or email address — by phone call, email, and/or SMS/text message — regarding your inquiry or application and related information about our services. By checking the consent box when you submit the form, you are giving us your express consent to be contacted in this way. This consent is not a condition of using our services. You can withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send, or by contacting us via the contact page or business@rivixsystems.com; standard message and data rates may apply to SMS communications.
5. Direct email
If you email us directly, we handle your message and any information in it the same way — solely to respond to you — and retain it only as long as reasonably needed for that purpose or as required by law.
6. Data storage & third parties
This site and the server that processes form submissions are hosted on infrastructure we control. We do not currently share visitor or applicant data with any third party for marketing purposes. If we later use a third-party service to process or store this data (e.g. an email or applicant-tracking provider), we will update this policy first.
7. Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics and Apollo's website tracker, which may set cookies to measure traffic and identify visiting companies, but only after you accept in the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit — it is opt-in, not automatic. You can withdraw consent at any time from the Cookie Policy page. We do not set third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. See the Cookie Policy for full detail on what is stored today.
8. Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, by reaching out via the contact page or by emailing business@rivixsystems.com. We'll respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
9. Children's privacy
This site is intended for business inquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes, and will call out material changes (like turning on analytics or changing how form data is processed) prominently rather than silently.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent via the contact page.
